Take a moment to get straight to the roots of this company.  Since I (14K.) have to write this bio. about myself, I will be honest to self as well as those who know me.......... So if you wish to take a short trip to see what's going on in my mentals....then read on......

    Everything that I do or say has more than one meaning. This is done by design because those that can't see pass the obvious will settle for the first meaning of what they see or hear. For those that are not afraid to use their minds.......they will see a deeper side that the mentally-challenged are blind to. Take the name "14K"  most will think that it's just some rap name that I came up with to make people think of me as gold.  Well, that's for the first group I just spoke about {mentally- challenged}. Try "One for Knockin' (boots & beats, my favorite hobbies). Get it?   1-4-K. Also one for Koolin'- out, Kuttin records, and Killin' time. Now do the math and follow me on this short trip.

The person who says it can't be done.....

 shouldn't interrupt the person who is doing it!

   For years I've been in music in some form. I've played it, re-created it, researched it, read about it, and most important.....lived it.  Now here's where the plot thickens. Everyone that has came to me with the desire and love for what I do.....always receive a warm welcome from me. I show them short-cuts and tricks to things that might have taken me months to learn. I explain things to people.....all the DO's & DON'Ts of the business  with my infamous examples and I always leave them with the impression that ......"Anything is Possible." What usually happens next is shocking to me, but I've learn to accept it as a part of life.........    Are you curious?    Read on...........>>>>>

      These people usually soak up just enough to feel comfortable and decide to move on and start their own thing. That's only natural, but for some reason they want to talk down about me and what I'm trying to do at the time. These people spread false rumors and tell others that I don't know what I'm doing, but seem to try to do everything that I had mentioned to them while they were soaking.

  So after this has happen so many times, you're probably thinking that I should wise up and keep my mouth closed, right? Well now you're beginning to see my biggest down-fall, I can't !  I try to be a positive person to everyone that I come in contact with and show them that with the right amount of energy, they can do anything that they set out to do. Now if you are smarter than the average, you're  probably beginning to see the 2nd meaning that I was speaking of. My main objective whether we are successful as a records label or not; is to show all of those that are a part of this label that doing things at the best of your ability is all that counts, and only putting in 50% is un-acceptable. In other words, how can someone only put 50% effort and expect to get 100% in return?  To me....putting in 50% means you're doing a "Half-Ass" job! (Excuse my language).

    Don't get me wrong, we are not running some youth home with the name of a record label attached to it. Our artists do have talent, but getting some of our artists to understand that there is more involved to a label than recording vocals has been my biggest challenge. That is why sometimes I feel that I'm the most misunderstood person connected with this label. I sometimes think that I have a handicap of seeing  visions of where we should be going months ahead of time rather than it being a gift.  I try to explain it to people who can't seem to believe in anything that they can't reach out and touch. So when I'm not present a few think that I'm crazy and just a big dreamer. Then someone comes along and does whatever it was that I was talking about and suddenly everyone understands........that's depressing!
